So I went into Greenway today in hopes of buying a new car. I previously went to Daytona's Ford dealership and did not get get what we were looking for unfortunately, so with high hopes of getting not just a better deal but better customer service and a nicer staff I went to Greenway to try and see if we would be able to get a good price that was fair for both parties. Shon So I went into Greenway today in hopes of buying a new car. I previously went to Daytona's Ford dealership and did not get get what we were looking for unfortunately, so with high hopes of getting not just a better deal but better customer service and a nicer staff I went to Greenway to try and see iwas my salesperson and everything was going well until I noticed a lot of inconsistency in the prices I was getting and wasn't feeling very comfortable so I told them that I would leave and give them a a call back if I was interested. So after about 45 minutes I called back only to be told that while I was gone they already ran my credit and told me I needed a co-sign for the car I wanted. The issue with that is that I never gave them my consent with pulling my credit. I never agreed on any price and yet they still went an pulled my credit when I wasn't even on the premises anymore. I did not sign anything except one paper in the very beginning and I asked my salesperson this exact question, "If i sign this am I agreeing to anything." and I was told confidently "Oh no not yet". So I went back to the dealership and asked them what happened and why my credit was pulled and they brought out the director to come and explain it to me. I have never had customer service in any dealership as bad as i did today at Greenway. In fact I don't think I've ever been approached as rudely as I was even in fast food restaurants. I was told that I was in turn lied to about what I was signing for in the beginning and that in the directors words was "unfortunate but what do you want us to do about it? we already did it we cant undo it. You need a co-signer to buy the car." I then told him that I was not going to be buying any car and that i was already approved from a different dealer with a lower price monthly and the same credit score so I could tell i was begin either lied to or just cast out to the side because i was not willing to be taken advantage of by the insane monthly payments i was quoted. the director immediately goes, "Okay then goodbye" and went to walk away from the table. I was very unhappy with that answer and expressed that to him but all i was told was "I know you are upset, you have made that more than clear. It's unfortunate but its already done. Maybe we can get you in a cheaper car like a Fiesta maybe." So at this point I am just being outright disrespected. So my fiance asked if we could get a time stamp for when my credit was pulled because the director swore up and down that my credit was not pulled after i left. His story didn't make any sense because why would my salesperson try and still sell me a car knowing I didn't have the credit to even buy it? I was there for three hours and yet it was after the fact after i left that i was told i didn't even qualify because of y credit. Meanwhile in Daytona beach i was approved at a lower monthly payment with a car that was at a higher price point only two days before. So when my fiance asked if there was a timestamp of when my credit was pulled he said no there wasn't and at that point I left the dealership feeling completely disgusted with how much I was being lied to. On my way home I called the dealership because I wanted a copy of the documents showing my credit being pulled and i was denied that. So unless you are wanting to be lied to and taken advantage of DO NOT GO TO GREENWAY. Ford has officially lost all business from me and I will tell all my friends and family about how shady and illegal greeways tactics are. I hope this review can help someone not make the same mistake i did by choosing both greenway and ford as a product.
