The sales people were very helpful when I went in and they have a good selection. However, the customer service is TERRIBLE. I have had nothing but problems since my furniture arrived. They delivered a defective (broken) chair that was missed by quality control. They then told me I could drive to Des Moines to exchange it (I live two hours away). They finally told me they could deliver another chair several weeks later. I had a family member come over to be at the house for delivery since I work every day. Unfortunately they then delivered yet ANOTHER defective chair. (?!). I have tried getting ahold of management several times in the past two weeks to describe the issue and there is never anyone available to help. I am so fed up with poor customer service that I will never recommend Homemakers to anyone. You'd think they'd treat me a little better especially since I paid for thousands of dollars of furniture IN FULL the day it was ordered. Go somewhere else. Don't waste your time.
