We are fairly loyal Fairmont guests, staying whenever / wherever available. This is most definitely a property that does not deserve to represent the Fairmont brand. Our first night, the sink would not drain and the engineer brought up a shop vac to fix it. The next night there was no hot water and the sink would still not drain. The third night, when we tried to iron clothing for a 50th anniversary party, the iron leaked and soaked the pad on the ironing board, causing water stains on our clothing. We then tried to take showers, having been assured that there was hot water. It took 10 minutes to get hot water, so we each took army showers to make sure both of us had the opportunity. When we were returning to the hotel on the 4th night, there were people smoking pot in the driveway, near the door. Nothing against it but it just felt like we were staying in a frat house. Empty liquor bottles in the hallway near our room for days. Definitely will never stay here again. We checked out a day early and moved to a Marriott Courtyard. Much better. SMH
