The preservation of this building is simply a gift for the people. It was a very beautiful evening.
What I still do not like are the modern stagings and stage designs. Actually, one wishes to dive into a world that has nothing to do with the present time. Everything is spartan on stage and if you do not know the opera or have dealt with it in advance, you wonder what's going on there.
The singers were terrific.
