My brother (who is deaf) recently had quadruple bypass surgery at Lourdes. Because he's deaf and my parents are in their 80's I acted as the point of contact for the family. Admittedly my experience is second-hand, but I'm giving the hospital 5 stars based primarily on the communication that I had with the surgical team, as well as my brother's experience with the care that he received for the two weeks that he was there, both of which were excellent.

I never had a problem reaching a medical professional when I had a question; in fact, members of his surgical team called me every day with updates on his condition and kept me informed as to what they were doing and why. They all were very patient with my questions and explained everything in a way that a layman can understand. Their follow up during his recovery has also been excellent. I would recommend this hospital to anyone who needs cardiac care.
