I brought my 2001 Accord to this dealership Januar...

I brought my 2001 Accord to this dealership January 2nd 2010. I was noticing clutch issues and asked them to look at the clutch. They looked at the clutch and informed me that it was in 'fine' condition and didn't need any work. They also suggested I get the 120k mile service done. Feeling that I just saved money by not having to worry about the clutch. The service amounted to $600.

Within two weeks I found myself and my car broke down and stranded on the side of a highway. I had my car towed to a different dealership where they informed me that, low and behold, my clutch had gone and needed to be replaced. The total work they did amounted to $1300.

The kelly blue book value of my car is $2100. In the month of january I spent 90% of that amount fixing it. I, an it consultant, have 0 training in automobiles, was able to successfully diagnose the state of my car's clutch while a CERTIFIED HONDA TECHNICIAN wasn't. How is that possible? I tried to contact the service manager (steve bloomer) about this. Each time I called (and was able to get through to him), he said he'd see what he could do and call me back the next day. Never once returned a phone call. Save yourselves the trouble and take your business elsewhere. This place is a joke. They're getting one star because I can't leave that blank.
