The company doesn't follow employment standards when it comes to wages. If you are put on salary, you basically do not get paid your overtime work even though you are entitled to it. If you approach management about it, they will consider you a problem employee and not attend to your concerns. Managers and supervisors like to make you work long hours without proper compensation. If you are on salary and you work overtime and ask for compensation, they will tell you that the hours do not matter. However, if you are under hours, they will treat you like you are the worst employee, unless you are related to or friends with the owners or management. Nepotism is rampant and movement up is a joke because being promoted to a foreman position is not based on experience or skills but based on whether you are close to the owners or management. The supervisor that I dealt with is incompetent and clicky. Tends to date people who are reporting to them and creates drama as best as he can.
