i give them 1 stars because they do give you a bag of food if needed, no questions ask. But there are certain restrictions on the clothing vouchers. you can get a clothing voucher for everyone in your household of $20 to use at salvation army clothing store for clothes only. however you can only get: no more than $9 in socks..& you cant get any items with the RED LABEL/tags on them..[you can only go to location: gate city blvd.[ 96% of the items have red tags]& the red tag items are the newer/cleaner/nicer items of clothes. So basically you have no choice but to get the worn down/stain products & trash shoes. You may want to keep this in mind next time you donate to a charitable organization. That your items which you giving to them for free are not being disburse correctly & that low income americans are being treated "indirectly as second class citizens ... shame on you Salvation Army
