My husband and I took our 9 year old son and 8 yea...

My husband and I took our 9 year old son and 8 year old daughter here yesterday. Most of the people who visited this park when we were there were were either morbidly obese wearing bikinis that were meant for a person with a size 3 body or were completely rude. First, when my son was in the kid-area of the water park, he got punched by another boy because he wanted to go in front of my son. Lifeguards in the kid-area did an "okay" job of watching the kids from what I could see, but of course my son being punched was not seen. The wave pool looked like the episode of South Park where you see the people's heads bobbing up and down but you can't actually see the water. We stayed there all day but did not buy any of the food, it looked so unhealthy and cost WAY too much. The lockers were also very overpriced. The rides are extremely outdated and they could use more rides, especially for the price they normally charge people. In the Konga River (lazy river with more current) the lifeguards made both of my kids get off of the double tubes they were laying on in the middle of the river and switch to a single tube, again, in the middle of the river (I should mention in most parts of this, it was hard for me to stand in the current and I'm 120 pounds) so in order to follow the "rules" which I didn't see this one anywhere, they endangered my children by making them get off of their floats and onto different ones. Way to go, ladies! Then, this one is posted, but we were told not to hold our kids floats so that we could keep our kids with us. You people are idiots. Oh, and I had a tube thrown at my head by what looked like an 11 or 12 year old boy, but who did he hear from? ME! Not the lifeguards warning him that he would have to get out, oh no. They only target the families who try to do right. After that, we left. We stood for an hour in line to even get in the stupid Konga River and then...seriously? Will NEVER come back. I will spend the much greater amount of money to go to the Great Wolf Lodge (indoor water park). Or drive further and go to Silverwood in Idaho.
