When I tried on dresses, I was so nervous. I listened to them and their suggestions and they found a dress that fit me so perfectly and looked amazing on me (one I would not have picked out myself.) I was in love.

I picked up my dress a couple weeks ago and fell in love again. I had some concerns over the beads that were twisting and loose. They advised my seamstress could fix them. I got home, and thought about it, and that meant that I would have to pay for the fixing of the beads. And I examined my dress even closer to find out there were rows of beads missing and many beads loose and the top part and boning was twisted. I was SO mad and scared because I heard of horror stories where the bridal shops won't take the dress back to look at it once it leaves the store. I called the store and Renee was so helpful and allowed me to bring the dress back in. Their seamstress, Bobby, went over the beading with me in detail and spent time to make sure all the flaws were pointed out and in a week I got the dress back. I went to pick it up this weekend and they did a phenomenal job fixing the beading and the boning. They were swamped this weekend when I went in so I felt bad being nit-picky, but the boning on the left was still wonky. Renee and her seamstress, Susanna, worked effortlessly on a super busy day to fix the issue and made sure I was leaving a happy customer.

My review is based on the customer service provided. I assumed that when I first picked up my dress, they would have went over it before I tried it on again to make sure that I was trying on a perfectly flawless gown for the price we paid, but I get it, totally, sometimes mistakes happen and it was more of an issue with the designer/designer shop than Vera's itself--the issues with the dress was because it wasn't properly constructed (and that it's sooo delicate). What really WOWED me was Vera's House of Bridals willingness to take the dress back and fix the issue and make sure I was happy at no cost to me. I have worked in customer service for over 15 years and I will tell you that this shop is great. They went above and beyond to make sure I was happy and I left with a product that I was happy with....even on their busiest day. I didn't get any attitude and didn't feel rushed to leave (especially since I didn't have an appointment) and I didn't feel like a burden. The phenomenal customer service and eagerness to make sure I was a happy bride earns them a 5 star. They did a great job and made me feel beautiful and like I was important.
