I was really looking forward to try out one of the restaurants in this newly opened hotel and decided to give Atrio Bar and Restaurant a try.

This time I picked a simple pizza Margherita, as that usually sets the bar of what the restaurant chefs are capable of.

I was really disappointed once I saw it, and even more so when I tasted it. If you don't have chefs caring about the food they make, and you don't have a proper wood fire pizza oven - don't bother serving pizzas. Especially not if you're running a 5 star hotel, a stone's throw from Italy.

A good reference pizza would be the pizza Margherita from Pepe Nero, which is pretty much next door to the hotel. Please have your chefs go there and try them out. The dough and the tomato sauce are the most important ones to get right.
