Went to basics training in the 70's in the old barracks. There was no air conditioning. There was only 2 old 38inches fans for ventilation. This was in the middle of June , between the screaming drill instructor's and hot p t field. You got used to it. And that's how they conditions you to mold and adapt your self to perfection
