Beware of BMW. I bought a 2006 530i. In less than 72K miles, the vehicle required >>$10,000 unusual repairs: 2 radiators, steering column, steering rack, water pump, engine oil leak, new coolant hosing, new transmission shifting mechanism, stereo amplifier, windshield wiper reservoir, wheel dechroming in addition to the regular maintenance: brakes, tires, oil change. VERY expensive car that is not as fun to drive as my Audi A4. My wife's Lexus RX330 - 74K miles...no problems at all! This is an extremely poorly made car that BMW of North America failed to support - I asked for assistance from BMW of North America and was denied. Please beware that BMW does not stand behind their product!
