To put things straight about the low star rating, the grounds and castle were absolutely phenomenal, however the guy at the ticket desk not so good though. Me and my family arrived at the castle on the 2/7/2020 and decided to get the family ticket as it made more sense to get, last time I checked my 17 year old son was still part of MY family, the ticket desk guy made us buy 4 individual tickets so instead of paying 45.00 we payed 58.00, not cool I will almost go to the extent to say that family doesn't really matter to the blarney people. So if you have a family don't visit. It's really a pity considering they have put so much effort in to it, truly magical places in it.
