Recently just ended my tenancy with Lighthouse, I will say that while several of the staff are nice their company practices are not.

Just before we moved into the property key repairs they guaranteed would be finished were not, in many cases they simply put a new bed in the room and didn't clean it.
We spent 6 months with the showers either not draining properly or leaking through the basin causing damp and water damage in the walls. They failed to provide internet yet made us pay for it before we arranged our own provider, they did pay us partially pay us back on this but still not enough to cover the cost. Due to damp conditions we had issues with black mould which exasperated health problems in the flat, this was later confirmed by health inspection but measures demanded by the inspectors were never taken.
Finally the flat above had a failure in the roof which lead to a massive water leak during which water flooded from the light fixtures and wall switches into several rooms making them unliveable for about a week and also result in me receiving an electric shock.
We received no aid, advice or reduced rent and due to arguments between lighthouse, the landlord and their insurance company this went unrepaired for over a month.

Finally in spite of cleaning the place top to bottom except for the water damage which we could do nothing about several of our deposits have been charged beyond reason to the point where I may be taking legal action against lighthouse depending on if they return the significant amount they have taken from me.
