I observed that every dog and cat receives very clean, excellent, organized care. Excellent facilities. Fostering for special needs pets. Medical evaluation and attention, exercise, socialization and affection. They are meticulous about each diet. Puppy diets, adult and senior diets. Matching older more needy pets, or puppies, and dogs of all ages in between, with appropriate new owners. There are many trained volunteers. A very positive environment. New dogs arriving weekly and turnover is almost always a week or less. Those needing attention are sometimes not always offered for adoption until they are ready medically and socially. It's wonderful to visit on a regular basis while searching for that perfect, just right pet and companion. Over the years I've had 3 dogs from the Northeast Animal Shelter, who were very dear to me. They were healthy and strong. They died of old age... So I am searching for just the right dog to be my fourth pet and companon.
