I have spent a lot of time reading the reviews before writing my own and I can very sadly say that ALL the complaints are valid and true. Whataburger has lost its quality in so many ways. In the good old days, when I was a kid, a teenager, and through my 20's and 30's we never had ONE single bad meal...EVER!!!! Then later it was MOST of the time that the meals were bad or wrong and very few times, and I mean several tries apart, they would get ONE right. I gave up going after throwing away so many meals and left hungry. I am now in my 60's and moved to a new location in Stafford, TX where I was happy to be near a Whataburger once again. Over the course of five months, I went there once a month. Three times for a taquito and hash brown breakfast, only ONE was fresh, hot, and delicious. Two more visits, a month apart, and they messed up both times with twice-cooked, dry patties and luke-warm fries. They have a lot of employees and a ton of business but there is NO REASON AT ALL to be served a cold or lame meal when you order at the speaker and pick it up at the window in a matter of minutes. Then when they make you wait for your food, and you are expecting a hot burger but they STILL get it wrong. How very sad for TEXANS who LOVE their Whataburgers!!!! Check out the Stafford location on 13030 Murphy Road @ Greenbriar. I know this review was just a waste of time on my part because of all the other comments, but I feel better just venting it HERE! Maybe, one day, someone will care enough to make a change. It will be a sad day when Whataburger closes its doors. Especially before I get the chance to enjoy once more, the true joys of eating a hot and freshly cooked Whataburger with all the fixings that are ripe and ready! Was it your motto that says: We Don't Make It Until You Order, Just The Way You Like It."? Well, it's been too many years since I have had that experience.
