Beautiful castle and landscape. We went on the 1:00 castle tour on Sunday, June 2 and it was enjoyable. There was almost nobody in or around the castle except our tour group of about 20. Our guide was informative and friendly. The tour starts with a 17 min video and the rest is walking around and inside the first and second floors. Most of the castle is hotel rooms so you don t get to see much. We stayed after the tour to walk around the halls and grounds. The tour was $8/person. There are some hiking trails if you go down the little side roads. The trail that used to go to the waterfall has been damaged due to the Waldo Canyon fire so it s closed. It was a very enjoyable afternoon and I would come again but maybe not pay for the tour.
