Expensive, but unique dining experience. Fondue is a great date night, very interactive and fun!
We were seated in a booth with a television about 3 feet above my head, playing the evening news on a local channel. The bright monitor illuminated our otherwise dim booth quite obnoxiously; Not exactly good ambiance...
The young and very friendly waitress was not skilled in opening a bottle of wine that I had brought; she was unable to remove the wax seal (I did it, not a problem) and then she proceeded to break the cork due to not screwing the worm all the way down. I was able to remove the remaining cork.
The food was very good. Portions were great, and we got "refils" of some tasty side items. Cheese, broth, and then chocolate fondue is a wonderful meal. The sauces are all a bit much as there are about 6 different types of dipping to choose from. Easy to muddle your flavors and create a cacophony on your palate.
I would recommend this restaurant to a couple of a date who are looking for a unique and fun, interactive and tasty experience. Make reservations for the evening, they fill up quickly and you don't want to sit in the "bar" and be subject to the local news broadcasts...
