It's a good idea to stay in the trastevere area when in Rome as it's one of the safer areas of the city along the Tiber river surrounded by Rome's true pizzerias, gelaterias and ristorantes and in the heart of all these is this hotel. Staff are very friendly and forthcoming. The rooms are huge. Then again I can only speak for the executive suit that we were updated to for free. Your breakfast is included and the choice is huge. Depending on the season some fruits/juices are fresh and some are from tins. Some of these fruits/food you get to pick for free near the front desk through out the afternoon. There's a computer with internet access and a printer by the entrance and a luggage weighing scale that requires money. One thing I noticed is that you cannot lock the bathroom/toilet door from the inside and was told it's the same case with all hotels in Rome or perhaps Italy for "security reasons". If you want to use the shower and I'm sure you would be careful about a design flaw which is the gap between the bathtub and the adjacent walls. Because it's not flush, water that you may spray in there would go into the bathroom floor then into the main room. You'd know what I mean. We never used room service as we didn't come to Rome to eat in a hotel room. Finally, the hotel runs an airport taxi service which costs only 2 more than Rome's fixed rate for taxis but I think it's not a big deal considering one doesn't have to walk a bit of a distance with luggage to the nearest taxi rank.
