After the painters damaged my property entering my apartment without my permission or notice (the law says they have to give you 24 hours. They can't just ignore the law cause they put it in the lease) and the byron company explicitly told me I would not have to clean and I would get all my deposit back they sent me a check for less than half of my deposit. My neighbors were crazy. One set fire to my front door. Nothing was done. I was constantly having to hear one of the drug dealers come and go slamming the back door every 30 mins to an hour. They just lie to their tenants. I had a super positive experience until management actually needed to do something. They fixed everything the next day but after trying to fix my sink 8 different times, I got tired of the coming and going of their maintenance staff. Their response to me complaining about my neighbors was not renewing my lease. That's what they do when you complain. It isn't eviction but we all know that moving will cost you at least $1000.
