The worst customer service I have ever experienced...
The worst customer service I have ever experienced. The doctor's here are great but everything else here is terrible. I came for an emergency with my dog and when I was discharged was given only part of the bill. Later found out by receiving my credit card statement that there was an additional 1700+ charged they they neglected to inform me of because the bill was processed after I left. No one called or informed me of such charges and I spent a whole day and half trying to get a hold of a manager to even attempt to resolve the issue or find out what happened. Then I attempted to place a prescription order for life sustainting medication for my dog. Placed the order on Monday and received an email that the pharmacy reached out to Long Island Vetrinary Specialist at least twice but received no response and could not complete my order. I called and gave specific information for the dosage and quanity ordered and asked that they please contact the pharmacy so I could complete my order. Unfortunately they placed the wrong order and after two days of calling them about 10 different times and not having the nurse call me back like they said she would I finally am able to order my medication. However, I am only able to order one month of a medication for a drug my dog is required to take the rest of his life to live and will be required to go through this whole painstakingly awful process of anxiety and frustration in a couple of weeks when his medication gets low. I don't understand how a facility that is suppose to care for your animal make it so difficult to get the life sustainting prescriptions he needs. Beware if you plan on using Long Island Vetrinary Specialists for any internal medicine needs they do not alleviate any unnecessary anxiety for the treatment of your pet as they claim on there hold message. However, they definitely know how to cause it.
