The Megaplex Theatres at Jordan Commons is my favorite movie theater in the Salt Lake Valley. The location is perfect, the staff is friendly and responsive, the options for dining are endless, and the audio and video quality is superb. The atmosphere is charming and unique. Navigating the various theaters can be a little tricky, but staff is more than willing to point you in the right direction. The theater can be busy at times, but theaters are large and almost never completely full. If you're in doubt about seat availability, check online and pay the $1 service fee (for online transactions) for a specific seat at a busy showing. Ticket prices are a little high, but they do have matinee and discount showings. While popcorn is occasionally strewn about, the theaters are usually clean. Restrooms are easily located and clean. Parking can be a little bit of an adventure, but terraced parking is available. There are many restaurants in the vicinity, so grabbing a quick meal before or after a movie is always an option. Overall, this is my favorite place to catch a flick close to home.
