I returned a pair of sandals I'd ordered online, using my Macy's credit card. The associate gave me a gift card for the amount. I told her that was unacceptable, I wanted the amount credited to my Macy's card. She called her supervisor, who agreed it had to be on a gift card. Again, I insisted that I wanted on my credit card. I asked to see the supervisor. When she arrived I repeated my demand. I gave her my credit card & she returned the amount to my card.
