The Omni Berkshire Place is ideally located...in easy, level walking distance to Times Square & theatres but NOT located in the chaos and crowded streets of Times Square itself! In the same vein, there are a number of excellent restaurants within 2 blocks of the hotel that are not crowded with tourists and featuring overpriced food & drink. There is excellent shopping all along Madison Avenue. I also like the ability to hop on a MTA bus, just outside the hotel, to get within a block of all of the wonderful Museum Mile sites on upper 5th Avenue. I've stayed at the hotel 3 times in the last 20 years, and it will always be my choice whenever I am going to NYC.
