It's like a number of prop warehouses missed their rent and had to ditch their collections on short notice. Big on stuff short on story.

The Marvel exhibit was essentially costumes and covers, very little about the history of Marvel, you had to dig to get info on the artists and writers who made it what it is. Mostly fluff with a lot of people taking pictures of everything and an oppressively loud soundtrack in the background. Everything about it was obviously driven by the movies not the comics.

The Sci Fi and Horror exhibits were functionally identical with different props and lighting. Things in cases with no information on inspiration or process or the people who made them doesn't wow me. Alien and Geiger alone could fill a whole section but there was no substance to any of it.

The Indie Game section was interesting but a lot of it didn't work well and what was there didn't tell a story about indie games. It felt like a big Nintendo ad with some charity to indie games thrown in.

Overall a bland and uninteresting experience.
