I was really impressed by this large, very country, farm near Yorktown Heights. It has a rustic elegance. You park your car in a dirt lot. Large and very well maintained buildings and fields. I believe it is a historical place with pathways you can walk to check out interesting sites on the farm. There are also cows and chickens, etc. I think the place is also a renowned learning center where people attend hands-on classes to learn the latest organic farming and farm animal techniques! Local people can join a membership and place orders for produce with weekly or bi-weekly supply drive-up pick-up. The workers are very pleasant. On Sat. from 10 till 4 the general public can come and shop at an outdoor farm stand. Beautiful, fresh-from-the-farm vegetables! I didn't see any fruit. Maybe there were apples. They also have maple syrup, eggs,
milk and other country items to buy. A good place to go for old fashioned farm experience with high quality, organic food items.
