$500 a night for the worst hotel experience I have...

$500 a night for the worst hotel experience I have ever had. We called specifically asking for a smoking room or balcony and paid extra for the upgrade. When we got to the room we noticed that there were no ash trays so we called the front desk. We were not in a smoking room.

They could not accommodate us with a smoking room but promised a $50 refund, which I still have not received. The hotel staff isn't very helpful. The room numbers have 5 digits and the floor number is the 2nd and 3rd digit. For some reason, the person checking keys in front of the elevator does not know this so we just guessed the floor until we finally found it.

If you stay here, get used to the staff saying "I don't know". You will have to ask guests to get answers. This was a terrible experience.
