A friend and I booked for a massage. We went as soon as we reached, we were seated in the waiting room, the place is extremely dark, the floors exerted too much noise while everyone walking around was making too much noise due to their heels friction on the poorly placed floors. The acoustics are completely stressful to wait listening to it. The music played both sound and choice of music made us extremely anxious. It was loud and fast paced. Generally tracks played in spas should help you relax. The guests were speaking super loudly on the phone which added to more tension. Especially that the walls and acoustics are completely adding up the tension. Too much furniture, minimalism in spas are important. After 20 minutes (as we reached 10 minutes early) even though we booked, we waited almost 11 minutes. Collectively 21 minutes we were left feeling agitated and anxious. We asked the receptionist When will we be attended? , she said shortly. We said it s taking too long we thought what s the point of booking before hand? She s like So, you want to cancel? We were like yes. Zero understanding of how to deal with clients. We left a spa feeling way worse than how we entered.
