After my rotator cuff surgery, I was told about Active Life & Sports from my surgeon friend. He was there for spinal rehab and was impressed with the staff.

I've been to several PT businesses and basically was unimpressed with them making me wait, threats of penalties if I was either late or god forbid, if I had to cancel within 24 hours, or the feeling I was being jammed into a schedule to optimize their profit. In any case, I have never felt they were there to support my rehab. So, between the copays and the poor support from these supposedly gold clubs I never wanted to go to another PT business for therapy for the rest of my life.

Unfortunately, my shoulder didn't hold up and surgery was needed. I called Active Life & Sports, completed the online paperwork, worked through my newfound Medicare and CareFirst insurance questions and had my first PT session (during the pandemic).

They took me right away to a therapy room (no waiting). Worked on me at the appointed time, were personable, professional, kind and knowledgeable. I have always felt that they wanted me to do well and improve. And not only was the therapy good, all workout routines are provided via an online phone app that shows exactly what I'm supposed to do - no chance of forgetting what is required for my at home exercise.

So, give them a try. They are better than the competition and now I don't hate PT.
