My family member was bay flighted there due to trauma. The Trauma Team was amazing, saved her life. Unfortunately she had to then go to ICU and then another room. Most of the staff were HORRIBLE, people like that should not be allowed to work with the public, nonetheless sick and injured people. They were so unprofessional, we heard the workers from her floor in the cafeteria talking/whispering crap about her right in front of us and everyone else. The Case Manager was the most ignorant, uninformed employee I have ever encountered in my life. She knew NOTHING, she lied, made things up. I was her power of attorney, told the case manager that, she asked for the paper, which I did not have with me (had to drive an hour to go get it) and they then proceeded to not allow me to visit my family member. Fortunately she was released to another facility (in the middle of the night without telling anyone, then told us the next day, they didn't know where she was). That facilities case manager called me IMMEDIATELY and set up visits, meetings etc. I kept thinking I should get a lawyer, but when your family is in such crisis, it's hard to think straight. If you can avoid this hospital, I would suggest doing so.
