Review of Roastery Cafe

First of all I wouldn't call this place an artisan coffee. The beans in the cafe can not be considered as speciality coffee. By looking at beans, I can say the roaster do not know what he was doing (traces of oil on the bean- big NO to beans). The taste mainly depends on how beans are handled while roasting. The baristas I met were energetic and enthusiastic in learning. Which seems missing in the roaster , by looking at the beans. Tried couple of pour overs, felt watery, seems bean to water ratio if too high.
Best result with good quality beans 1:15 (mainly competitions)
Average coffee shops 1:16 or 1:16.5 (pretty standard)

Finally : no one responds call at 8:30 in the morning, which explains timings are wrong. Not an early time coffee place.

Note: If moto is to promote/introduce good speciality coffee to India. Doing right will take business and knowledge to great levels.
