I've been doing Concentrics research studies for at least 15 years now. This is a totally professional operation that offers great one-time opportunities to make a little extra money -- usually $50 to $100 per study.
You'll typically spend 30 to 45 minutes reading a product label and answering questions about it afterward (don't worry -- it's an open-book test). The apparent goal is to ensure that instructions on, say, how to take a new decongestant is easily understood by the public.
My only regret is that I wish I could do Concentrics research studies more often. But company policy prohibits individuals from participating in more than one or two studies a year.
