Best church I have ever been at balancing a focus on being as close as family within AND taking that same love OUTSIDE the walls into the community and publicly telling the congregation about it and inviting them to get involved BEFORE the events. Our pastor also is focused on us knowing God and his word, flowing with the Holy Spirit, growing as individuals in our faith and in groups together, and going and taking our love and faith outside our building into our community and the world.
