On July 7,2020 we purchased a 2016 Honda CR-V. In the fall when we changed out the summer tires with rims to winter tires with rims we noted that the existing summer tires were not new. We were under the assumption that because of the limited wear left in the tires which already had 73,290 KMS ( car came from Toronto ) there would be new tires on the vehicle. When we picked up the vehicle the vehicle was shining as well as the tires. We signed a road hazard tire warranty which we thought were for the new tires. Under further review of the tire warranty it stipulates for used vehicles the tire warranty would be for 40,000 KMS however a clause is exclusions stipulates a void warranty if the remaining tread was less than 3/32 which means in our case the warranty was void when we picked up the vehicle.I then played telephone tag with the salesman, Roman Sidoli, who had to discuss the issue with the sales and leasing consultant, Chris Shannon. I then played telephone tag with Mr.Shannon. I eventually got frustrated and gave up. Just recently in March 2021, with 82,752 KMS on the vehicle it developed a squealing noise from the tires. The dealer checked the vehicle and advised that it was a rear seized caliber and back pads and rotors were required. Less than 10,000 KMS were on the vehicle and it required almost $1000 in back brake repairs!!!!!. When my daughter picked up the vehicle after the assessment for the squealing brakes she saw and spoke with our salesman, Mr. Sidoli, he advised that they always wanted happy customers and requested that I should contact him. So again I sent an email to him that night requesting a review of our problem. I did not hear from him for at least two weeks, or even got a response to my email, so I left a message with the receptionist for him to give me a call. He eventually phoned and advised that he would again have to discuss with Mr. Shannon. I have not heard a word, very frustrating!!!!!. I guess once this dealer makes a sale, it s on to the next sale and they forget about the purchaser to try a resolve any issues with used vehicles. Very terrible after purchase customer service!!!!.
