Spent Saturday evening here with friends for a beautiful, intimate dinner. The dining space is cozy and unique (used to be La Normandie, years ago), with real candles on the table and low lights. Feels like you're dining in an Italian grotto. Every course was fantastic, from the cheese plate (be sure to follow the server's instructions from mild to intense so as not to blow your palette) to the salads to the pastas to dessert. My favorite pasta was the simple, rustic Cacio e Pepe (photo attached), but the shortrib cappellacci was delectable and memorable. Although the ricotta doughnuts are rather famous, my simple affogatto was amazing! Hillary, our server, was delightful and very good at her work. Easy valet parking right out front even on a busy Oktoberfest Zinzinnati weekend. Sotto is a Cincinnati gem. Do not miss this place!

Tip: Portions are small; consider ordering a dish from each course and a few different pastas for a true, authentic dining experience.
