The Getty is placed on top of a mountain overlooking the ocean with a handsomely manicured property with a water feature, several outdoor dining and picnic areas. They offer permanent historical installations while displaying new creations as well. The museum is free and you're shuttled up on a tram which adds to the experience. Good for the everyone especially children and families.
