What these friendly helpful mechanics do is awesome. I highly recommend donating your bicycle here; it will go to good use for a good cause. They sponsor events and raise funds to help those who can't easily obtain 2 wheel transport; defunct forgotten bikes are retooled, renewed, and reconditioned to ride again rather than being added to some giant landfill.
