I will start by saying that as far as finding our perfect RV, our sales guy Steve Roland was great. We had stopped here shortly after they opened to look at purchasing an RV. We made it clear that we were actually on the road driving back to Pennsylvania from Fort Worth so we didn t want to be there all day. We told Steve what we were looking for and he found us the perfect RV fairly quickly. He was very knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. I actually slipped and fell in some mud and he drove me to a hose so I could rinse off and back to the bathrooms so I could change, if I was rating just off this I d give a 5 star review. However once we decided what RV we wanted and it was time to talk financing everything went downhill. Our credit is not bad but not perfect either. They tried to have us put down a non-refundable $1000 deposit to hold the RV so they wouldn t sell it while we were talking financing, we told them no. We had no idea at that point if we had approval, what our payments would be or anything. I wasn t going to give them a $1000 that again, is non-refundable without knowing if the finance terms would even be to our liking. We submitted the online application for finance with ALL my husbands information such as employer, how long he d been employed, etc. We were then sent down to the finance department to finish the deal. There we were told we would absolutely have to put down a 10% down payment. We asked if we could at least run it past the banks with something less and they refused to even try it. We then again were asked to pay the $1000 deposit before we had any finance numbers, we again told them no. We weren t paying anything until we were satisfied with the finance agreement. From the very beginning we felt that once they realized we didn t have perfect credit and we weren t going to be an easy in and out sale they didn t really want to work with us. At this point the finance lady told us to go to lunch while she ran our information through the banks to get us finance information such as our interest rate, payment amounts, etc. Again, we needed to get on the road and we had already been here longer than what we wanted and we told her this, she said it should be done when we return from lunch. And they would call us when it was finished. So we left to go get lunch. We came back about 45 minutes later, waited around another 10ish minutes before going in to ask if they were close to being done. No one was available to talk to us so we decided to just leave to get on the road. We continued to wait for them to call that day and they never did. Today, almost 24 hours after telling us they were running our information to the banks and it shouldn t be too long, they finally call us back. They tell us that they were trying to make a deal but couldn t because we had left them only basic information and had not left any employer information or income information. I was absolutely floored, we filled out their online finance application that they told us to fill out and we put ALL of my husbands information including income and employment info. Not only that but if the finance lady was supposed to run our information while we went to lunch how was it they were just now calling us TWENTY FOUR HOURS later saying they didn t have enough information to run anything?! We told them we no longer wished to do business with them. As I stated in the beginning once they realized we weren t an easy sale we felt like they didn t really want to deal with us and obviously pushed us to the bottom of their priority list.
