Very snobby staff. At first they seemed friendly but when my bf and I requested to hold one/play with one (because they were kept in cages and there's only so much you can gauge your connection to the cat by sticking your fingers in the cage) we were told that a staff member can only hold them and that's the only way we can pet them. Uhm, Really? I totally get it when it's for cats that are naturally stressed out easily or have anxiety, but the kitten we were looking at was extremely playful and sweet. All we wanted was to see if the kitten took a liking to us but instead the staff gave us this strange look and then one of them took out the kitten and held her but held her in such a way that made it difficult to even pet her or play with her. It felt like she was doing it on purpose and all this made my and bf leave this place and go elsewhere to look for a cat. A real shame because we were ready to adopt right then and there. Pro tip. If you want people to adopt your cats don't expect them to take a cat home when the only way they can see if they have a connection to the cat is by sticking your fingers in the cage. What a bizarre place. The cats were fine bit the staff made us feel highly uncomfortable and I'm not going to adopt a cat unless I know it's a right fit for us.
