I understand the ER gets busy and that they aren t designed to help with chronic illnesses but the level of respect given to a patient when they are trying to specifically ask for NON-narcotic pain relief is pathetic because they treat you as if your asking for a million dollars. They say there s an opioid addiction problem in today s world and the worst part is that it is caused by the drs that there are now that push narcotic medications on people. I had to raise my voice just to make it clear to them I didn t want them to just give more meds it s truly pathetic and gives very little hope for the medical system.
