Took the CAI river cruise and found it fascinating with a narrative that tells a story about the birth of tall buildings, the economy of the river, and the politics of the characters that built Chicago into what it is today. Also fascinating is the CAI museum/foundation and center that tells the story of Chicago's architectural influence that can be found around the world. Begin with the foundation museum exhibits and then take the river cruise. Both are highly recommended!!
