It's really unfortunate that I didn't have the best experience with Hikari Scissor Service. I sent my scissors for regular sharpening and then returned sharpened, but with a nick (tiny chip) at the tip on both sides. I sent an email and got a return phone call and spoke to a women name Courtney and so I explained the problem. She was completely unhelpful and argued that it was no possible way the scissor left the factory with a nick and it had to be something I did or UPS. The UPS package was completely intact and scissors only touch by hair when I noticed the nick(first time cutting since returned). I continued to explain that, but without any solution other than have me pay to have Hikari Scissor Service "take a look at them". Really bad customer service! I would be willing to pay shipping again if they would fix there own mistake. Plus, for a company to suggest they're never wrong or make mistakes is absurd. I strongly advise seeking another scissor sharpening company!
