I had the misfortune of dealing with a woman realtor there at Tarbell. As a Realty Specialist with over 17 years experience in both California state and federal service I am well aware of real estate laws, ethics and agency. When the realtor started exceeding her authority, violating real estate ethics and refusing to communicate with me, I fired her. She then determined it was OK to access my accounts at Home Depot and finalize a transaction I had stopped that was being pushed by her contractor friend. She was determined to benefit the buyer and her friendship with an escrow officer. The agent had clearly switched sides, violating her duty to me. When I approached the broker with my concerns he did nothing. I have since heard that similar acts have been committed by this realty agency. There are other realtors out there without having to deal with rogue unethical agencies.
