This is not just about this one experience, but most all of them. I find that nothing happens timely in this service department. I no longer use them for oil changes/preventative maintenance because of the slow service. I could understand if I did not have an appointment, but I ve always gone in with an appointment.
Unfortunately when I got a check engine light on my display, I couldn t even get an appointment for nearly 2 weeks. The light was off before the appointment but I kept it because my hazard lights had not worked in a long time and needed to be fixed. This took nearly all day but thankfully the dealership was able to give me a car to drive.
I could overlook the long wait times IF I had the assurance that my vehicle had been gone over with a fine tooth comb to prevent any possible new problems but that is obviously not the case. My car was at Bradshaw s service nearly all day on Thursday and by Sunday night I was having a serious issue cranking my car.
I opted to call Wakefield Buick this morning (Monday.) I didn t need an appointment and was urged to bring it in because they didn t want me to be stranded. Even over the phone they felt like they knew the problem, a low voltage battery, which turned out to be the case. Wakefield will be my service center from now on.
I will say the service coordinators at Bradshaw really try to please but I believe it s out of their hands. I appreciate their concerns and kindness but the lack of good service in the back isn t worth using them.
I have had experience with the Body Shop at a Bradshaw and they were very good.
