First of all. Package is intact and the deliverers...

First of all. Package is intact and the deliverers were friendly too. My rating is negative because the effort I had to make on my part to receive my package was too great. For me the effort is acceptable, parcel cannot be delivered = parcel has to be picked up in the parcel shop. DPD says that this is possible, but only if you select it, but even then the delivery process is not adapted to the shop, although the opening times are known. (Is also a partner after all) That was only possible with one package, the second could only be left on a desired day or storage location or neighbor. The front door storage location is not an alternative in a city center. Neighbors are mostly working too. So I chose Saturday because I knew I would get information beforehand. Info came I was at home who doesn't come? Right DPD! In my delivery history you can see 2 delivery attempts. once the day where I changed the day before the attempt took place and the day I wanted to have, where no delivery took place. On Monday I called DPD because I couldn't change anything and the next delivery attempt was announced for Monday. The result was the package should be returned to the sender. With this I then telephoned and he made sure that it should be delivered again, directly to a shop. That was obviously not possible because it came back to me. This time I was at home. On the day itself, the delivery time and the number of stops were changed 5 times. from 13 to 1 to 2 to 25 from 1 to 7 p.m. How can you even begin to plan your presence there? Yes, I understand that the package is very high and one tries to avoid contacts. But none of this is a reason to make sensible communication and to have a system that ultimately leads to the recipient getting his package. When I imagine that the delivery is not about a package but about a medium-sized medical device. Then a day's delay is probably okay. My incident extends over a week and the delivery only worked because the sender took care of it. Driving to a pickup point would have minimized the effort for me considerably.
