Interesting experience here... Came on a Monday, gorgeous weather out, and we needed full party to be seated so we went to the bar area instead for half off shared plates. Prices, food, selection all very solid and typical for the area. Slight mishap when the bar started getting backed up and our third round never came and food was nowhere to be found. No refills on water. We started to get antsy and called over our "waiter" to chat. Finally he says he is the owner and is short staffed that night and chats about the service and experience and then gives us this round and food plus shots on the house. Woah! He cares!

One thing I give owners and waitstaff a LOT of credit for is recognizing a shortfall and making up for it. We can all say it happens, but making it right will be bringing us back.

Stand outs - Gin cocktail, mac and cheese, meatballs, blue cheese fries plate. The patio is packed during the summer, so get there early or at least try for the tables by the windows!
