Two stars is me giving them the benefit of doubt because of covid or it would have been one. I have been eating here for over 20 years and have never received as bad an experience as I did last night. Upon putting my name in, I was told it be 30 to 35 min, but to check in after 20. This was after another coupled bullied their way into the bar, because they didn't want to wait. Also no social distancing in the bar area, but more people there, than in the whole restaurant. I checked back after 20 min and was told that it would be another 10 or 15 minutes, even though there were plenty of open tables. I sat outside and watched people leave and a birthday party come in. When we were finally seated, we were sat right by the server station, with plenty of other tables open. The waiter came and asked if we wanted drinks. We commented on the pricing and the wait and declined. The waiter tried to apologize for the wait, stating that there were only two of them working (waiters maybe?) We said that it wasn't our fault, our waiter said it wasn't his either, so we left. I know its tough right now, but that should not affect how you treat customers, if the place is short-handed, step it up and work a little harder that night, who knows your tips might show it more. Don't complain about it to your customers. I'm sure that there are plenty of unemployed people out there, that would love the opportunity to have your job.
