This is our second year in a row at Cambrils Park.
The facilities are top and everything is very careful. It is ideal for family vacations.
Although tomorrow we are leaving and we have found a detail that has overshadowed the stay a bit, since it does not seem to us that it is up to the resort or the price that is paid.
You have to leave the bungalow at 11:00, but as usual in this type of facility there has always been a courtesy service that allows you to continue enjoying the facilities and then wash up before leaving on your trip. It is something that we give importance to, because we have 2 little girls (1 and 2 years old) and it is great for us to be able to undertake the return trip at nap time, so that it is more comfortable and peaceful.
This year due to the covid they have eliminated this changing room service. It seems a logical decision, although it would have been advisable to communicate it before arrival, as they have done with the rest of the measures.
What does not seem very reasonable are the alternatives offered by the Management, who go through cleaning in the toilets of the common areas (it seems less safe than doing it in the changing rooms that have closed) or paying 25% of the usual rate (it is say, almost 100) to continue enjoying the bungalow until 20:00.
Given this exceptional situation, wouldn't it be more reasonable to allow a late check-out subject to availability for guests to wash up in their own bungalow? After all, we only need 2-3 more hours and they have confirmed that our bungalow is free (with the current occupation there are many bungalows that are not occupied the same day).
The solutions to these types of problems are what usually make the difference in high-end resorts and justify the high price paid. So we leave a bit disappointed.
But still it seems to us a highly recommended place.
