Had an issue with a notary on a DBS that got rejected from the FCO which made me lose about a fortnight of time before I could apply for a visa. Mistake was acknowleged with sympathy and rectified without cost and my rejection letter was photocopied by the solicitor to consolidate learning. Was initially frustrated as it was my first ever time dealing with a solicitor, however the solicitor s ability to deal with the issue gave me the assurance that it was a once-in-a-blue-moon issue.
